Music Teacher Jobs

Music teachers can instruct three different kinds of courses: music education, chorus, or instrumental. Music education seeks to give students an overall appreciation of music, teaching them how to read, write and play music, and its history. Chorus and instrumental music, on the other hand, are more specialized. Chorus focuses on singing, organizing students into choirs which recite songs from memory or sheet music. Instrumental classes attempt something similar, but instead of using the voice, they teach students how to play particular instruments. All three kinds of classes may extend from elementary school to college, with music teachers earning an average salary of $47,000, according to Indeed.
